The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse (Registered Nurse) to provide comprehensive healthcare to youth at Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility. In this role, you will deliver professional nursing care, administer individualized treatment plans, and respond to medical emergencies. Qualifications

Requires current licensure as registered professional nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Ohio Revised Code. BACKGROUND CHECK NOTICE: The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening. PRE-SERVICE TRAINING: All new candidates hired to the Department of Youth Services are required to attend 3 weeks of mandatory, paid training at the Correctional Training Academy in Orient, Ohio. Training Academy hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Travel, meals, and lodging are provided. DYS is a "qualifying employer" for purposes of the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness [PSLF] program.
